Chamonix Zermatt ski-tour, the famous « Haute Route » on skis


Chamonix - Zermatt

The Chamonix Zermatt ski-tour itinerary is called the famous Haute Route, first followed in summer 1903. This is a good ski-tour among the 4000 m peaks of french and swiss Alps, from Chamonix to Zermatt (Valais).


Skilled skiers, able to ski off-pist everywhere and in altitude (if you don’t know much about ski-touring, please ask first for our introduction course in Beaufortain or Val d’Isère or from Val d’Isère to Italy…).

Guiding by

UIAGM mountain guide or ski instructor, or both. Most of our day activities and courses/ski-tours are guided and coached by UIAGM mountain guides of Savoie-Mont Blanc.


730 € for Arolla-Zermatt (in 3 days/ 2 nights ) or 1290 € for Chamonix Zermatt ( 6 days/5 nights), on a basis of 5 persons.

This price includes :

  • organisation + guiding by a mountain guide,
  • accomodation full-board in huts,
  • loan of an ARVA tranceiver + 1 shovel for each two persons (and a probe).

Doesn’t include :

  • the bus to return to Chamonix,
  • rental of skis and gear,
  • drinks,
  • Eventually ski-lifts and taxis, if any.
